JLPT Boi is a self-study app with practice questions, mock exams, listening audio, explanations, a dictionary, and a review queue for JLPT levels N5–N1.

JLPT Boi is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Japan Foundation or Japan Educational Exchanges and Services (JEES), the organizations that administer the JLPT. Question content is original practice material written in the style of the exam.

The free plan is limited (daily question and review caps, exam allowances) and may change with notice in the app.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. Manage or cancel any time from Manage billing in the app (Stripe portal) — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.

The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment that unlocks Pro features for the lifetime of the service — meaning as long as JLPT Boi operates. It is not a perpetual license if the service shuts down, and it is non-transferable.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change; changes to a subscription price apply only to future billing periods.

If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us at support@jlptboi.com within 14 days and we will make it right. Statutory rights (for example, EU consumer rights) are unaffected.

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service — scraping or republishing question content, attacking the service, or sharing paid content publicly.

Practice content is provided for study purposes. We work hard on quality, but we do not guarantee the absence of errors — explanations, translations, and audio may occasionally be wrong, and in-app content may differ from real exam questions. Report issues with the flag button on any question screen.

Question text, explanations, audio, and images are owned by JLPT Boi. The built-in dictionary is derived from JMdict and used under CC BY-SA 4.0. You may use the app for personal study only.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JLPT Boi is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, exam results, or lost data, and our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
