まま after 開けた keeps the resulting state — the window stayed open while she went out.

Practice 〜まま →〜まま attaches to the past form (開けた) and means the result of the first action continues unchanged through the second: the window was left open when she left. The related うち(に) needs an ongoing state (開けている), while ばかり means "just did" and ほど marks degree — none of them express an unchanged leftover state.
