〜ようにする
〜ようにしている expresses ongoing conscious effort — 'I make a point of waking up at the same time every day.'

Practice 〜ようにする →V + ようにしている means "make an effort to do / keep doing ~" — the speaker consciously maintains this routine of not looking at screens. The nai-form 見ない pairs with ようにしている for an effort toward a negative habit. ことになっている reports an external rule, ようになっている a resulting state, and ところにしている is ungrammatical.
