〜ことにしている
〜ことにしている marks a self-chosen routine — 'I make it a rule for myself to review new vocabulary the same day.'
Tested at JLPT N2 — 4 practice questions below.
Practice 〜ことにしている →V-辞書形 + ことにしている expresses a personal habit or self-imposed rule the speaker keeps deliberately ('I make a point of ~ing'). Same-day review is the speaker's own resolution, so the volitional している is used — なっている would imply an external arrangement. 「ようになっている」 merely reports a resulting state, and 「わけにしている」 does not exist.
