〜上は

「上は」means "now that I've taken it on," tying the commitment to the duty of seeing it through with responsibility.

How it's used

〜上は attaches to a past-tense verb to mean "now that / since (a decision has been made)," expressing that a resulting obligation or determination follows. Once 引き受けた stands, taking responsibility to the end naturally follows. 一方で adds contrast, 末に marks an outcome reached after effort, and 際に only marks an occasion — none encode the resolve triggered by a commitment.
