〜ものなら
「できるものなら」introduces an unrealizable wish: "if only I could go back to that day and redo it."
Tested at JLPT N2 — 1 practice question below.
Practice 〜ものなら →Potential verb + ものなら ("if it were possible to…") frames a desired but difficult or impossible condition, typically followed by a wish like 戻ってやり直したい. ところなら and わけなら are not conditional patterns for ability, and ことなら defines a topic after nouns rather than flagging an impossible ability — the set conditional after できる is ものなら.
できる__、あの日に戻ってやり直したい。
