Practice 〜ことにする →Dictionary-form verb + ことにする expresses a decision made by the subject, and past した states the resolution taken for health. ようになった describes a gradual change ("came to ~"), not a decision. ところだった means "was just about to," which contradicts the habitual 毎朝. ことになった means the matter was decided by circumstances or others, losing the personal agency that 健康のため implies.
