〜ように
ひかないように states the purpose of sleeping early — 〜ように after a negative verb means "so that ~ doesn't happen".

Practice 〜ように →A plain-form verb plus ように marks the goal an action aims at: 子どもにも分かるように 'so that even children could understand.' ように must come first, immediately after 分かる; then the means-phrase 簡単な言葉で modifies 説明する, and 説明し + ました supplies the polite ending — 子どもにも分かるように簡単な言葉で説明しました 'I explained it in simple words so that even children would understand.' Any other order strands ように with no legal position.
